BWC Program Deadlines
Private Employers
• September 1st-Physcal Year 2020 first installment due.
• September 15th-Individual retro annual statements mailed from previous policy year (approx. date).
• September 30th-Snapshot date for experience calculation.

Public Employers
• September 30th-Drug Free Safety Program annual report due for 1/1 program start date.
• September 30th-Last date to request change in estimated annual payroll.
• September 30th-EM cap requirement deadline.
• September 30th-Deadline for One Claim Program education requirement

Acronyms
• One Claim Program (OCP)-Designed for employers recently removed from a group-experience-rating program, this program can earn them up to a 20% discount off the base rate during the initial year of eligibility.

• EM Cap (EM)-This cap on an individual employer’s experience modifier (EM) minimizes the effects of a significant premium increase. It will equal 100 percent of the previous year’s published EM whether it was an individual or group EM.

• Group Retrospective Rating (Group Retro)-Join a group within your industry, continue to pay individual premiums, and then receive retrospective premium adjustments based on the combined performance of the group.

• Individual Retrospective Rating (IRP)-Individual employers can possibly earn a premium reduction by assuming a portion of the risk.

• August 30th-Drug Free Safety Program Action Plan DFSP (DFSP-5) deadline (advanced level only) for 7/1 program start date
• August 31st-Self-Insured assessment payment due – second half
• Physical Year 2020 First Installments Due
